Mahler's Symphony No.8 in the Royal Albert Hall

On Sunday 23 October, the Philharmonia Chorus took part in a performance of Mahler's Eighth Symphony in the Royal Albert Hall, part of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's Mahler cycle. The Chorus joined sopranos Sarah Wegener, Jacquelyn Wagner and Regula Mühlemann, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston, contralto Claudia Huckle, tenor Vincent Wolfsteiner, baritone Benedict Nelson, bass James Platt, The City of London Choir, Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, Tiffin Boys Choir and Schola Cantorum of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School. The performance was conducted by Vasily Petrenko.
